On September 19, Kapuso artist Shayne Sava recalled experiencing betrayals with her career in showbiz.
At the Regal Studio Presents’ 2nd anniversary, which LionHearTV covered, Sava alluded to encounters with people who betrayed her in her personal life and career.
“Meron po, kasi feeling ko hindi lang naman po sa buhay relationship na nararanasanan ‘yun betrayal, ‘yung panloloko, sa mga friends din, so sa lahat ng mga bagay po naranasan ko na po siya. Even sa career, and everything, and ‘yun po ang masasabi ko po masakit po siya and sobrang ano po, sobrang nakaka-doubt. And ayun pa.
“Meron, hindi naman po maiiwasan po sa life ‘yung mga ganon, ‘yung mga betrayals.”
Despite her experience, Sava persisted with her career with the mindset of providing for her family.
“Siyempre po right now po, tuloy-tuloy pa rin po ‘yung pag-support ko sa kanila, lalo na po siyempre po sa mga kapatid ko po na, pinapaaral ko rin po, and tinutulungan ko po si Mama sa finacial, so ayun po. Grabe, grabe ‘yung Starstruck days, kapag naalala ko. And I’m such– ano po na parang sobra akong thankful sa Starstruck kasi ‘yun po talaga ‘yung stepping stone ko po kung bakit ako nandito ngayon.”
However, she expressed her hopes of getting a degree in either psychology or journalism.
“Opo naman, kung mabibigyan man ako ng chance and ng time po para ma-finish ko po ‘yung schooling ko, gagawin ko po talaga, kasi I really love studying and gusto ko po makapag tapos ng pag-aaral.”
As for her role in Regal Studios Presents, Sava joins other Kapuso and Regal stars such as Lexi Gonzales, Yasser Mata, Dustin Yu, Will Ashley, Althea Ablan, Carlo San Juan, Miggs Cuaderno, Royce Cabrera, AZ Martinez, Larkin Castor, Lianne Valentin, and Brianna Bunagan during the celebration of the 2nd anniversary of the GMA Network and Regal collaboration.
