On November 8, social media star Sassa Gurl reacted to getting called the future of comedy.
At the media conference for the reboot of ‘Takeshi’s Castle,’ which LionhearTV covered, Sassa Gurl’s co-hosts Eugene Domingo and Smokey Manaloto cited how good and gifted the social media star was.
Manaloto highlighted Sassa’s talent for comedy.
“Tapos noong umalagwa na, as in kapantay na. Ang daling bitawan ng feed, ang daling mag-feed kay Sassa Gurl kasi out of instinct, alam niya kung paano maipa-punch line ‘yung fineed namin sa kaniya. Kaya magaling siya kasi intelehenteng komedyante rin kaso ‘to.”
Domingo added that Sassa had a gift for comedy.
“I think, more than magaling, kasi nade-develop naman ang galing. I think Sassa Gurl is gifted–gifted or cursed.”
Sassa responded that she didn’t imagine the seasoned comedians would praise her.
Talagang blessed ako siguro this year, to be working with my idols, to be working with sa mga ni-look up ko talaga.”
She then thanked her co-host for the praises she got for her comedic talents.
