In a recent episode of ‘Fast Talk with Boy Abunda,’ Kapuso actress Sanya Lopez engaged in a playful game called ‘Pick and Talk.’
The game required her to choose between two actors displayed on an LED screen and explain her preference.
The two actors in question were Alden Richards and Joshua Garcia. Sanya appeared to deliberate over her choice, but ultimately, she decided on Joshua Garcia.
Her decision was based on her positive first encounter with Joshua when she saw him at a mall. Joshua approached Sanya and asked for a photo with her family, leaving her with a favorable impression.
“Kasi si Joshua parang noong una ko siyang nakita sa ‘Unbreak My Heart’ nila. Sa isang mall. Very genuine and parang kinausap niya ako. Parang kasama niya ‘yung mga relatives niya…Siya ‘yung lumapit sa akin para sabihin niya sa akin na puwede pong magpa-picture ‘yung family ko. Sabi ko, oo naman ‘no. parang ako pa ‘yung nahiya sa kaniya,” she shared.
She believed that they would have great chemistry and no dull moments if they were together.
“So ‘yung pa lang parang feeling ko, magiging okay kami ‘pag magkasama. Parang wala kaming dull moments.”
When host Boy Abunda jokingly brought up that Joshua might kiss differently, Sanya responded with humor, “Parang hindi ko pa naman po na-try.” The topic of Joshua’s kissing style had generated buzz on social media, particularly after a notable kissing scene in one of his series.
Sanya Lopez, known for her role in ‘Mga Lihim ni Urduja,’ is currently gearing up to reprise her character as Sang’gre Danaya in the upcoming ‘Encantadia’ series, scheduled to air in 2024 on GMA Network.
