On October 13, actress Maui Taylor remarked that it was time for her to evolve in acting through her role in ‘Haliparot.’
At the media event for ‘Haliparot,’ which LionhearTV covered, Taylor talked about her role as the mother of her co-star Aiko Garcia in the sexy film.
“I think it’s to [ano]– time to evolve. The fact [that] I’m playing a role of a mom, ibig sabihin, I already took one step– a giant step forward. And being a mom to Aiko (Garcia) in this film, actually ano, proud ako at tsaka honored ako kasi, first things first, I really like the ano eh, the project, I told Direk, sabi ko Direk, ‘I really like this, sabi ko I will do it.’ So iyon, it’s taking one step forward lang–transitioning into more serious roles.
“As you can see naman nagka-love scene. Pero, I think what I brought into the table is more of the acting. So ‘yun.”
When asked about how she would explain her sexy roles to her children, Taylor openly responded she plans to show the film to her kids when they are at the right age.
“I suppose with the internet po, makikita at makikita po nila ‘yun, so alam ko ang next na itatanong sa akin, paano ko i-explain, madali naman po maintindihan ng mga bata ‘yun. So yes, I’m very proud of this film and yes I would love for them to see it when the time comes na pwede na silang manood ng mga ganitong pelikula.”
