On October 26, actress Lovi Poe asserted she would not have limitations with her career after getting married.
At the media event for her endorsement with the jewelry brand Imono, which LionhearTV covered, Poe addressed whether she would put limitations on her career as an actress after tying the knot with her husband, executive producer/scientist Monty Blencowe.
“I feel like no, I feel like as an actress talaga. One thing na natutunan ko is that I want to keep portraying different characters. ‘Yun naman talaga ‘yung trabaho namin bilang actors. Of course, some people choose to do the same kind of roles– the same kind of characters– as you can see, things are very different for me.”
She also highlighted how passionate she is about her career as an actress.
“I want to do something na a bit out of the box and crazy and unconventional, so it depends on din naman talaga. It’s what feeds my soul din naman talaga. I want to do something new, and every time I do something new, parang there is this different passion inside–of me talaga, and mahal ko talaga ‘yung ginagawa ko, so I just really want to do it.”
As for her plans with Blencowe, Poe disclosed how understanding her husband was of her career.
“That is something that Monty and I still have to talk about. Kasi, right now, I’m just very happy that he’s very understanding of my job. And whenever it is naman, when I’m filming, it’s me always still traveling whether it’s going to be here or out of the country.”
She also highlighted Blencowe’s support for her success as an actress.
“So buti na lang, he’s taking it in a positive way. He wants to see me shine and succeed as an individual kaya sobrang swerte ko na ganon siya. I know [that] we are on the next level, the next stage, but he still wants to see me shine.”
The couple tied the knot at the Cliveden House in Berkshire, England, on August 26, 2023.
As for her projects, Poe is currently part of the Kapamilya action-drama series, ‘FPJ’s Batang Quiapo,’ alongside the producer/director/actor Coco Martin.
As for her endorsement of ‘Imono,’ Lovi confidently showcased a necklace piece that ranged from only 700 pesos to 1000 pesos, underscoring the fashion and affordability of the jewelry brand.
‘Imono’Â offers exquisite and affordable jewelry crafted from hypoallergenic and stainless steel materials.
The jewelry brand retains its commitment to providing attainable and stylish options to fashion-conscious people, which reflects Poe’s values as a style influencer.
