GMA Network’s latest primetime offering, ‘Lovers/Liars,’ maintains its lead in the timeslot against its competitor ‘Senior High,’ although the margin is noticeably slimmer compared to its predecessor, ‘Unbreak My Heart.’
According to the most recent Nielsen NUTAM People survey, ‘Lovers/Liars’ remains the frontrunner in its timeslot, holding a slight advantage over its Kapamilya counterpart, ‘Senior High.’
On its debut on Monday, November 20, ‘Lovers/Liars’ secured a 4.5 percent rating, surpassing ‘Senior High’ by 0.5 percent, which stood at 4.0 percent.
The following day, Tuesday, November 21, the Claudine Barretto-starrer teledrama experienced a minor dip of 0.1 percent, landing at 4.4 percent. Despite this, ‘Senior High’ maintained its rating at 4.0 percent, reducing the lead to just 0.4 percent.
In a comeback on Wednesday, November 22, ‘Lovers/Liars’ saw a 0.2 percent increase, reaching 4.6 percent. This extended its lead over ‘Senior High’ to 0.9 percent, as the latter’s rating remained at 3.7 percent.
Headlined by the Optimum star Claudine Barretto, ‘Lovers/Liars’ took over the slot previously held by the highly successful collaboration between ABS-CBN and GMA Network, ‘Unbreak My Heart.’
As ‘Lovers/Liars’ navigates the current ratings landscape, the question is: can it replicate the success of ‘Unbreak My Heart,’ or will ‘Senior High’ continue to pose a challenge for this new drama series? Let’s wait and see.
