The Kapuso primetime romantic-drama series, ‘Love Before Sunrise (LBS),’ has reached a significant milestone by achieving its highest-ever ratings.
According to the most recent Nielsen NUTAM People survey, LBS secured its peak rating, maintaining its consistent dominance in the timeslot against its Kapamilya rival, ‘Can’t Buy Me Love (CBML).’
On Thursday, November 23, the Dennis Trillo and Bea Alonzo-starrer series recorded an impressive 8.8 percent rating, marking its highest performance since its debut on September 25, 2023. In contrast, its competitor, CBML, trailed behind with a 7.6 percent rating, 1.2 percent lower.
GMA Network expressed gratitude to its dedicated viewers through a social media post for Love Before Sunrise’s latest accomplishment.
Before attaining its all-time high ratings, the series had already achieved its second-highest rating.
On Wednesday, November 22, LBS garnered a rating of 8.7 percent, surpassing CBML by 1.3 percent, as CBML recorded a rating of 7.4 percent.
The beginning of the week showcased LBS’s impressive ratings, maintaining its dominance over its Kapamilya rival.
On Monday, November 20, LBS achieved an 8.3 percent rating, leading CBML by 0.3 percent, as CBML secured an 8.0 percent rating.
The following day, Tuesday, November 21, the Kapuso series experienced a slight decrease of 0.1 percent, settling at 8.2 percent, yet still leading the timeslot by 0.1 percent compared to CBML’s 8.1 percent.
LBS’ consistent reign in its timeslot can be attributed in part to CBML’s absence from A2Z, as CBML only aired on TV5 every Wednesday and Friday due to A2Z’s coverage of the PBA games.
