Kyle Echarri has reaffirmed his commitment to ABS-CBN by signing a new contract with the network.
During the press conference held after the contract signing, Echarri unveiled exciting news about his participation in two upcoming projects, one of which will see him sharing the screen with the iconic actor Piolo Pascual.
Echarri was understandably eager to share the details of these projects but opted to keep them under wraps for the time being. However, he did reveal that one project is a film produced by Spring Films and Cornerstone Studios, while the other is an ABS-CBN production. The young actor conveyed his enthusiasm for both projects and the chance to play diverse roles.
When asked about his preparations for these roles, Echarri disclosed his commitment to enhancing his physical condition. He expressed his aspiration to achieve a “borta” physique, a term in gay lingo that denotes well-built and toned bodies typically associated with masculinity.
The actor also shared that he has a series of workshops lined up as part of his preparation. He emphasized the value of honing one’s craft through workshops and training, no matter the stage of one’s career. He mentioned that his upcoming role demands hitting the gym, indicating the physical rigor involved in these projects.
At present, Kyle Echarri is part of the primetime series ‘Senior High,’ where he acts alongside Andrea Brillantes and Juan Karlos Labajo. Echarri’s entry into showbiz began with his participation in the second season of ‘The Voice Kids’ eight years ago, where he impressively finished among the Top 6 as part of Sarah Geronimo’s team.
His venture into acting has brought him recognition in well-loved series like ‘Kadenang Ginto,’ ‘Lyric and Beat,’ ‘Huwag Kang Mangamba,’ and ‘The Iron Heart,’ where he played the role of the young Apollo, portrayed by Richard Gutierrez in his adult years.
