Darryl Yap’s recent blind item, which hinted at an actor allegedly booked by an international singer for one night for a hefty sum of P1 million, did not explicitly name anyone.
However, based on the clues provided, such as the actor not being from ABS-CBN, having a surname that matches a singer, and the hint of the letter ‘E’, many speculated that Kelvin Miranda, a GMA Network actor, was the subject.
Although Darryl did not confirm if Kelvin was indeed the person he was referring to, the Kapuso actor addressed the issue in a live video on his verified Facebook page.
While maintaining that he respects everyone’s opinions, Kelvin emphasized the importance of not making assumptions, especially when dealing with hearsays.
Kelvin clarified that he doesn’t harbor any ill feelings towards Director Darryl Yap and pointed out that Darryl did not drop any names or directly implicate him.
He acknowledged the significance of people’s perspectives but urged caution against assuming things that may not be true.
