On October 27, Kapuso actress Katrina Halili highlighted how she conditioned herself for her return to the action genre in ‘Black Rider.’

At the media event for ‘Black Rider,’ which LionhearTV covered, Halili discussed her previous action roles in GMA Network.

She then detailed how she conditioned herself and her body to give justice to her role.

She also listed the training she had to go through for her role.

“‘Yung character ko po, as of now, ako po si Romana, assassin, skilled assassin, medyo nahirapan po ako kasi kailangan kong dumaan sa mga trainings, mag big bike, tapos mag mix martial arts, kung ano-ano.”

Halili recounted how GMA Network offered her the role of Romana, noting that she was shocked by her character in the series.

Admittedly, she felt skeptical about her role. However, she enjoyed portraying her character in ‘Black Rider.’

‘Black Rider’ stars Ruru Madrid, Yassi Pressman, Katrina Halili, Matteo Guidicelli, and Jon Lucas.

The cast also features Raymond Bagatsing, Gladys Reyes, Raymart Santiago, Zoren Legaspi, Gary Estrada, Rio Locsin, Roi Vinzon, Almira Muhlach, Monsour del Rosario, Jayson Gainza, Janus del Prado, Empoy Marquez, Rainier Castillo, Prince Clemente, Luis Hontiveros, Vance Larena, Kim Perez, and Saviour Ramos.

Joining them are Maureen Larazabal, Aleck Bovick, Bodjie Pascua, Marco Masa, Ashley Sarmiento, Tito Vince, Whamos Cruz, Kylie Padilla, Carla Abellana, Salome Salvi, Turing, Pipay, Shanti Dope, Isko Moreno, Joaquin Domagoso, Joem Bascon, Analyn Barro, Simon Ibarra, Mariel Pamintuan, Arra San Agustin, and Ashley Rivera.
