Kapamilya actress Kaila Estrada, the daughter of Janice de Belen and John Estrada, has defended her fellow actress Anji Salvacion amidst criticism over her performance in the Prime Video original series ‘Linlang.’

Anji Salvacion, a former winner of ‘Pinoy Big Brother,’ has garnered attention for her role in ‘Linlang,’ a thriller drama featuring A-list actors such as Kim Chiu, Paulo Avelino, and JM de Guzman. In the series, she portrays the character Kate Alcantara.

During an interview at the ‘Opulence: The Halloween Ball 2023,’ an event organized by Raymond Gutierrez, Kaila Estrada expressed her support for Anji and urged more responsible and kinder online commentary.

She acknowledged the role of criticism in the industry but emphasized the importance of being considerate, as harsh words can have a significant impact on individuals.

“I understand that criticism is part of it. We welcome it kasi we learn from the criticisms that we received but I think some people may have thought taking it too far. I really hope we could just be kinder and nicer and more responsible on what we say online kasi hindi naman natin alam ang magiging effect nun sa kanya,” she shared.

Anji Salvacion has received both praise and criticism for her role in ‘Linlang.’ Christian Bables has also voiced his support for Anji Salvacion amidst the criticism she has faced.

Despite the mixed reactions, the cast and creators of ‘Linlang’ have expressed their gratitude for the support they have received from viewers.
