Jason Francisco is one contented family man during his and his family’s interview on Magandang Buhay.
During the November 15 episode of the Kapamilya noontime show, the Pinoy Big Brother alumnus admitted that it was never his plan before to have a family at a very young age.
“Sobra akong masaya dahil sa dalawang ito. Dahil noong una, ayoko naman talaga mag-asawa muna. Noong bata pa ako, ayaw ko talagang maka-family, dahil mahirap ‘yan. Hindi ‘yan basta-basta, ” he said, referring to his daughters, Mela and Stela.
Jason Franciso from Mindoro and Melai Cantiveros from General Santos City, it can be recalled, met through the reality show, Pinoy Big Brother. The eventually wed each other and had two lovely daughters: Mela and Stela.
Francisco shared that he eventually learned his responsibility as a family man.
Kung wala man, (dapat) kaya mong panindigan, ” he added.
He said he is thankful that he met his wife and described the life he found with her a blessing and life-changing.
He shared that the arrival of his two daughters gave him purpose in life, and a reason to wake up to everyday. Tapos parang everyday ang sarap gumisising, tapos parang pag-gising mo hinahanap mo ‘yung pamilya mo?” he told Magandang Buhay hosts, Jolina Magdangal-Escueta, Regine Velasquez-Alcasid, and his wife, Melai Cantiveros-Francisco.

Asked how is it living everyday with three hyperactive girls in the house, Francisco admitted that it is an everyday challenge, but not without joy and fulfillment.
Melai and Jason wed each other on December 9, 2013. This year, after surviving marital woes that nearly led to a separation, the couple is going to celebrate their first decade as a husband and a wife.
