Sang’gre Amihan, a beloved character from the iconic Filipino fantasy series “Encantadia,” recently extended her warmest wishes to the newest guardian of the Brilyante ng Hangin, Sang’gre Deia.
In an Instagram post, Angel Guardian, who plays Sang’gre Deia in the upcoming sequel to the GMA Network’s “Encantadia,” shared an uplifting message she received from Iza Calzado, who portrayed Sang’gre Amihan in the original series.
Iza’s heartfelt message read, “Hello, anak! I saw online that they have already announced the characters for Sanggre and your participation in it. I wish you all the best as you embark on this journey of playing/being Deia. May it bring you the break you so deserve! Alagaan mo si Deia ha. Hehe! Love you!”
Angel expressed her deep gratitude to Iza and promised to honor the character of Deia while carrying her name with kindness, power, and grace.
“To Ms. Iza, thank you so much for this very beautiful name and thank you sa pagpayag na gamitin ang pangalan ng pinaka espesyal na tao sa buhay mo—your beautiful baby, Deia Amihan,” Angel’s heartfelt message began.
