On November 24, Beauty Wise CEO Iya Galo celebrated her 18th birthday and shared details about the car she received as a gift from her dad.
At Galo’s 18th birthday celebration, which LionhearTV covered, the Beauty Wise CEO remarked that her dad wanted her to learn about driving.
“Actually, I don’t know how to drive. So, yeah, tapos I [recently]–I talked to my dad about [driving,] and I talked about how badly I wanted a jeep. So it’s really a– I’m [really] grateful for everything that I received. And even if wala ‘yung mga ‘yun, I think I would always be grateful pa rin.”
She also acknowledged the changes in her life now that she entered adulthood.
“Pagbabago? There’s a lot of changes [in terms] of legalities, malamang pwede ng makulong, which will never happen. [Other] than that, more responsibilities. I love the challenges, especially sa life, which is– hopefully–I would encounter the best way I can.”
She also discussed what she looks forward to now that she’s 18 years old.
“Ang pinaka-nilo-look forward ko po is getting to satisfy my parents’ wishes for me. Kasi, my goal in life is for them to be proud and to make them feel na every hard work they had was worth it. Every pawis po na binuhos po nila sa akin, which is being a responsible CEO, good actor, good grades, ganon po.”
As for her debut party, Galo celebrated her 18th birthday at the Manila Ballroom of Hilton 1 Newport Blvd. Pasay City.

Beauty Wise Philippines is a skincare and beauty products brand spearheaded by the youngest CEO in the country. Galo highlighted their goal of introducing Beauty Wise to the international market, especially in Indonesia.
