For twelve days, ‘It’s Your Lucky Day (IYLD)’ brought joy and entertainment to devoted Kapamilya viewers during It’s Showtime’s mandated 12-day suspension by the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB).
Yet, how did its final episode perform in TV ratings?
As per the latest Nielsen NUTAM People survey, the last episode of IYLD fell notably behind its competitors.
On October 27, IYLD secured a rating of 1.9 percent, trailing behind Eat Bulaga! by 2.0 percent at 3.9 percent and lagging 2.7 percent behind E.A.T.’s 4.6 percent rating.
This marked IYLD’s second-lowest rating in its 12-day run. Its lowest rating was on October 24 at 1.8 percent, placing it at the 24th spot in the ratings chart.
Despite the underwhelming TV ratings, the show resonated well online, evident from its high live concurrent views and numerous trending topics throughout its duration.
During the finale, the noontime show inundated social media, propelling its hashtag #ThankYouLuckyFam to become one of Twitter Philippines’ top trending topics.
Viewers praised the hosts of IYLD for their gracious acknowledgment of the production team’s support and for creating a memorable noontime experience, even in just 12 days. The show’s final episode featured Jessy Mendiola, the wife of Luis Manzano, as a guest co-host, adding to the fun.
Why am I sad this filler/temporary show has to end after 12 days? They're just good vibes, no negative energy, no bashing, no hype, just genuine niintime entertainment. =)
Good job, #ItsYourLuckyDay @luckymanzano and team! Cheers! https://t.co/M9rcrH65OJ

Beyond trending topics, IYLD also garnered significant online views, with the last episode amassing over 125,000 views on ABS-CBN Entertainment’s YouTube channel.
In its debut episode, the short-lived noontime show also outperformed competitors in live concurrent views. IYLD accumulated over 75,000 live concurrent views on Kapamilya Online Live, while rival E.A.T. managed only 54,000.
Amidst speculations, there are fresh rumors hinting at IYLD’s return in December, promising more enjoyment and prizes for its dedicated Ka-lucky viewers.
