Kapuso actress and fashionista Heart Evangelista, along with her friend and former colleague Arnold Mendoza, opened up about the departure of her previous glam team.
Reflecting on the past incident where her “glam team” reportedly left her, Heart shared a piece of advice, stating, “You cannot trust anybody. Only yourself and just a chosen few. Especially when they want more.”
Arnold Mendoza, in the same vlog, expressed disappointment, suggesting that if the team had decided to part ways, it should have been done in a more respectful manner, rather than through a letter.
“Naging influencers kayo dahil kay Heart, mga bakla kayo, mag-reresign kayo.. Sulat? Kapal naman ng mukha nyo. Pwede nyo naman kausapin yung tao. May magagawa pa ba siya kung gusto niyo na siyang iwan? Pero sana namili kayo ng maayos na paraan,” Arnold said.
Arnold criticized the former glam team for their audacity, alleging that they utilized secrets entrusted to them by Heart against her. He emphasized that, at one point, Heart had helped them, and they should have shown gratitude instead of turning against her.
“Minsan isang panahon natulungan naman kayo ni Heart,” Arnold stated, urging them to be more grateful.
Heart’s husband, Sen. Chiz Escudero, added that there are valuable lessons to be learned from real-life situations and not just from hearsay. He mentioned that Heart has gained insights from the experience.
