TAPE Inc.’s ‘Eat Bulaga! It seems to have firmly established its foothold by securing consecutive victories over its archrival, E.A.T.
According to the latest Nielsen NUTAM People survey ratings, ‘Eat Bulaga!’ notched another impressive back-to-back win against its former leader, E.A.T.
On Friday, November 17, ‘Eat Bulaga!’ garnered a rating of 4.2 percent, surpassing E.A.T.’s 3.8 percent.
Maintaining its momentum, the Kapuso noontime show continued its dominance on Monday, November 20, achieving a rating of 4.4 percent. Once again, it outperformed E.A.T. by 0.8 percent, with E.A.T. settling at 3.6 percent.
Earlier in the week, ‘Eat Bulaga!’ also secured a victory on Tuesday, November 14, with a rating of 4.3 percent against E.A.T.’s 4.1 percent. On Wednesday, November 15, both programs were tied, each scoring 4.1 percent.
The recent success of ‘Eat Bulaga!’ in the ratings game can be attributed to its strong lead-in program, Tiktoclock.
On Monday, November 20, Tiktoclock achieved a noteworthy rating of 3.8 percent, claiming the 16th spot on the overall chart and surpassing E.A.T., which held the 18th position.
On Friday, November 17, the Kapuso pre-afternoon variety show also posted a commendable rating of 3.6 percent, securing the 17th spot on the leaderboard.
The noticeable improvement in Tiktoclock’s ratings, rising from its previous average of 2.9 percent to now above 3.5 percent, clearly indicates its positive impact on the post-programming slot of ‘Eat Bulaga!’ contributing to its overall ascent in the ratings chart.
