On October 10, Vivamax stars Angela Morena and Gold Aceron discussed how they set limitations with their sexy scenes in ‘AHASSS.’
At the screening of ‘AHASSS,’ which LionhearTV covered, Morena highlighted how their director, Ato Bautista, ensured that the cast would feel safe when doing their sexy scenes.
“Limitations, ah pinag-uusapan namin ‘yan. Actually si Direk na rin po ‘yung nag-initiate na, ano ba ‘yung pwede mong gawin, ganyan, so thankful kami both na supportive po si Direk and the MavX productions. We felt safe, we felt na wala kaming dapat ipagaalala.”
She also noted her collaboration with Aceron when doing their sexy scenes.
“And madaling katrabaho si Gold, sobrang ano niya, collaborative pagdating sa mga eksena po, ke love scenes, ke hindi love scenes, we help each other, which I love about him, sobrang wala siyang arte.”
Aceron detailed how their director guided him with each of their sequences.
“Nagpapasalamat din ako kasi iba rin talaga ‘yung pag-guide sa amin ni Direk Ato, and MavX team, iba rin talaga, every shoot namin, hindi mo maiwasan ni Direk na magturo ng iba’t ibang bagay sa akin.”
Bautista disclosed his ‘by the numbers’ approach in executing the sexy scenes, comparing their choreography to sequences in action films.
“Kung naco-curious po kayo sa love scenes, nasa text po lahat ‘yun, how it was written. Sobrang saya ko sa actors, even with Ian, kasi ang ginagawa namin before we take the love scenes, ang tawag ko dito sa set, by the numbers, let’s do it by the numbers. So each sentence, sinusunod namin. Kiss on the lips, go down, naka-block po talaga siya, hindi siya adlib.
“I don’t really make love ad-lib love scenes. It’s like how we do a love scene. It’s like we are taking an action sequence. It’s more complicated than you think.”
He also pointed out that having a calculated approach in doing intimate scenes unburdens actors when portraying their roles.
As for their upcoming film, ‘AHASSS’ stars Angela Morena, Gold Aceron, Janelle Tee, Salome Salvi, Jao Mapa, Ian Curtis, and Og Sacred.
Under the direction of Ato Bautista, ‘AHASSS’ streams on Vivamax starting October 13.
