On September 19, Kapuso artist Althea Ablan hinted at her bullying experience.
At the media event for Regal Studio Presents’ 2nd anniversary, which LionHearTV covered, Ablan responded to a question about her experience getting bullied on a set of a previous project, stating, “Tapos na po ‘yun.”
She then clarified that she didn’t actually experience getting bullied.
“Hindi–hindi naman po ako inaapi. Wala naman pong pang-aapi nangyari sa akin.”
When asked about her ‘Regal Movie’ worthy life story, she highlighted her showbiz journey, citing her early years as an artist.
“Siguro, sa chapter na lang po ng buhay ko, kung paano po ako nag-simula sa showbiz. Ayun po, yes ‘yung hirap.
“Before po kasi, talagang nagco-commute kami, taga-South kami, pumupunta kami ng North. So jeep, tricycle, MRT, lahat po yan, naranasan ko po. So ‘yun po ‘yung gusto ko i-share, parang my journey, ganyan. And ang pinaka-lesson is never give up po talaga.”
She then thanked GMA Network and Regal for continuously giving her projects.
“Super happy po and thankful din po siyempre for the trust and ayun nga po, nakakatuwa dahil iba’t ibang character bawat episode po talaga so nalalaro mo. Hindi ka lang kontrabida or bida na laging umiiyak. Dito naman sa Regal, lagi po ‘yung– ako po ‘yung nakukuha ko pong story, very light, very fun. Malayo po sa drama, so ayun po.”
As for their series, ‘Regal Studio Presents’ features Kapuso and Regal artists such as Dustin Yu, Shayne Sava, Yasser Mata, Lexi Gonzales, Will Ashley, Althea Ablan, Carlo San Juan, Miggs Cuaderno, Royce Cabrera, AZ Martinez, Larkin Castor, Lianne Valentin, and Brianna Bunagan star in some episodes of the GMA Network and Regal collaboration.
