Despite facing unpredictable weather conditions, the outdoor concert commenced promptly at 8:30 p.m., showcasing the resilience and determination of its organizer, rapper Pio Balbuena.
The Tambay Music Fest was orchestrated to celebrate the anniversary of Balbuena’s cap business, ‘Tambay Cap.’ Balbuena, who candidly shared his upbringing in Quezon City’s slums, embarked on his Tambay caps venture during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.
From modest beginnings, Balbuena’s unwavering dedication and hard work led to a remarkable success story. He now holds the position of CEO at Tambay Traders, Inc., a duly registered company conducting online business on a global scale.
Before venturing into the business world, Balbuena and his team created the immensely popular ‘Tambay’ web series, attracting millions of viewers and cultivating a dedicated fanbase. This triumph served as a catalyst for Balbuena to launch his Tambay cap business, which quickly gained prominence and expanded its reach beyond the Philippines to markets in Singapore, South Korea, the Middle East, Italy, and the United States.
