‘It’s Showtime’ host Ryan Bang has extended an apology to GMA Senior Vice President Annette Gozon-Valdes for his previous remarks made during an interview on ‘Fast Talk with Boy Abunda.’
In the interview, Ryan was questioned by Tito Boy Abunda about his choice of a leading lady from GMA Network if he were to collaborate on a project with them
“Oo! Mukha s’yang Korean,” Ryan humorously suggested Annette Gozon-Valdes, noting her resemblance to a Korean and implying they would make a good pair. “Bagay kami…”
During a recent visit by GMA Network executives to ‘It’s Showtime,’ Ryan took the initiative to apologize to Atty. Annette for his earlier comments.
“Pasensya na po Ms. Annette. Hindi ko po alam ano bibitaw ko po ‘yung pangalan. Bago po ako nag-interview, nakita ko po kayo sa hallway. Pasensya na po boss, hindi ko akalain kasi kayo po ‘yung boss. Maganda, akala ko po artista. Hindi ko po maulit, pasensya na po,” Ryan expressed to the GMA executive.
This apology not only brought a sense of reconciliation between the parties involved but also elicited positive reactions from the show’s hosts and the audience.
