On October 4, actress Ruffa Gutierrez shared her views about having money when going on dates.
At the media event for ‘Can’t Buy Me Love,’ which LionhearTV covered, Gutierrez noted how couples could go on dates without spending too much.
“Okay lang naman makipag-date kahit walang pera. Edi magholding hands kayo umupo kayo sa park, tumingin kayo sa langit. At mangarap kayo pareho na sana someday, magkaroon kayo ng pera.”
When asked she experienced going on dates without spending money, Gutierrez responded, “Oo naman, kaya lagi akong pinapagalitan ni Mommy. Hindi daw ako marunong pumili.”
As for working with the Kapamilya pairing DonBelle, she remarked on their professionalism and love for acting.
“Well, I’ve known Donny since he was a kid. I’m good friends with Maricel and Anthony Pangilinan. I just met Belle, but I can see that they’re both very professional– and they love their craft.”
She also shared her advice to the Kapamilya love team on how to maintain their longevity in showbiz.
“Ang ma-advice ko lang, if you want to stay in the industry [is]–it’s not just about being mahusay in your craft. I think kailangan marunong ka din makisama which is nakikita ko sa kanila. Kasi, you may not be the best actor–the best actress, but if you’re easy to work with, they will always get you for future roles.”
