Showbiz personality and current US-based creative director Robby Tarroza has raised questions about the legal status of the marriage between the late Francis Magalona and Pia Magalona.
According to Tarroza, who now resides in Southern California, Pia was allegedly already married to another man before her involvement with Francis.
In a recent Facebook post, Tarroza contended that Pia’s prior marriage and two children with a Mr. Lim should dispel the notion that any vows were broken between her and Francis when Francis reportedly connected with former flight attendant Abegail Rait.
“WALA KASI TAYONG DIVORCE SA PILIPINAS!!!! But even with kasal, ang tanong, WAS KIKO MARRIED TO PIA???! No, she was married to another guy with last name Lim and they had a son, Niccolo and daughter Unna, Who Many of us knew this! Pia huwag ka magpabiktima! grabe ka! No one broke up your marriage dear! You were never married in the Philippines!” said Robby.
Tarroza emphasized that Pia should not portray herself as the victim of infidelity, as there may have been no legal marriage between her and Francis. He pointed out that the absence of divorce recognition in the Philippines raises questions about the nature of the union between Francis and Pia.
This revelation by Robby Tarroza challenges the prevailing understanding of Francis and Pia Magalona’s relationship, prompting a reevaluation of their marital status. As of now, Pia has not responded to Tarroza’s claims.
