On September 27, actor Paolo Gumabao considered his role in ‘Lockdown’ his most ‘extreme’ project yet.
At the cast reveal event for ‘Shake, Rattle, & Roll: Extreme,’ which LionhearTV covered, Gumabao remarked that the film under the direction of Joel Lamangan was his most extreme role yet.
He clarified that he’s still willing to go into the sexy genre but not going as extreme as ‘Lockdown.’
“Pero, pagdating naman sa pagpapa-sexy, I’m not closing my doors. Siguro just kung magpapa-sexy ulit ako, iba na. A different kind of sexy. Hindi ‘yung tipo na kita na lahat pati ‘yung kaluluwa ko, ‘yung mga ganon, pero it still depends on the project naman.
“Like I always say, I’m always here. I want to learn as much as possible, I want to keep honing my craft, and kung para sa akin, kung feeling ko naman na the material is [right]– and it’s [going to be] used in the best way possible [then] why not.”
As for promoting ‘Shake, Rattle, & Roll: Extreme,’ Gumabao highlighted how artists use social media nowadays to help advertise their projects.
As for their upcoming film, the three-part horror movie ‘Shake, Rattle, & Roll: Extreme’ features three stories, ‘Mukbang,’ ‘Rage,’ and ‘Glitch.’
