Ogie Diaz gives an advice to Liza Soberano’s father

In a recent episode of ‘Showbiz Updates,’ the well-known showbiz columnist Ogie Diaz shared his reaction to the statement made by John Castillo Soberano, the father of actress Liza Soberano, in a shared social media post.

It was announced not long ago that Liza is set to make her debut in a Hollywood film titled ‘Lisa Frankenstein.’

John couldn’t resist expressing his thoughts in the caption of a post shared by ABS-CBN News. He stated, “I can’t wait ano ilalabas ng mga camp ng Cristy Permin & Ogie D ngaun…”

Liza had previously admitted in an interview with Boy Abunda that she had some reservations regarding her former manager, Ogie, as he had once referred to her as ungrateful.

Furthermore, Liza also received criticism from another prominent showbiz columnist, Cristy Fermin, who suggested that she was being left behind by her contemporaries, such as Kathryn Bernardo.

However, Ogie questioned what exactly he would be expected to say in response to such remarks, emphasizing that he has nothing to hide and is not involved in promoting any controversy.

Instead, he chose to extend congratulations to Liza for her success in her debut Hollywood film.

“‘Yun lang naman ang sasabihin ko, Daddy. Ano bang inaasahan mo? Di ko gets si Daddy. Dapat nga, Daddy, hindi ka nag-iimbita ng mga pang-iintriga, ng away. Dahil wala namang umaaway kay Liza. At wala namang umaaway sa ‘yo, di ba. So, dapat ano na lang tayo, positivie lang sa buhay,” Ogie added.
