On September 27, vlogger Ninong Ry (Ryan Morales Reyes) shared his best practices and advice with his fellow content creators.
At the cast reveal event for ‘Shake, Rattle, & Roll: Extreme,’ which LionhearTV covered, Ninong Ry remarked that influencers and content creators should understand the legalities behind any deals or endorsements they would undertake through their platform.
“Best practices na lang siguro, be always on top of your game, meaning kapag binigyan ka ng– ‘yung kontrata may taga basa na ‘yan, pero basahin mo pa rin. Kahit 15 pages ‘yang kontrata na ‘yan. It helps na basahin mo pa rin.
“I mean I’m sure kung malaki ang pricing niyan, you have your lawyers na. Ako mayroon akong lawyer, pwede nilang i-explain sayo ‘yung kontrata. Kahit busy schedule mo paki-dissect nga sa akin ‘to, ano ba ‘to?
He also noted that managers should protect their talents, especially the influencers, from making questionable deals.
He also reacted to the recent news about Maggie Wilson’s claims about some influencers who participated in a smear campaign against her.
While Ninong Ry clarified that he wasn’t aware of the issue, he noted that influencers should have due diligence when accepting projects.
“Mayroon sigurong idea ‘yung mga tao na– ang artista or anyone given the script, will just say the script. Alam mo ‘yun, siguro in some cases oo, pero ikaw bilang technically, nagtra-trabaho, you were given a script and alam mo ‘yung repercussions ng mga bagay na ‘to, dapat may due diligence ka na mag-research.
