On September 14, singer Moira Dela Torre shared her advice to people who become emotional when they get drunk.
At the media event for brand endorsement for ‘Maria Clara Sangria’ and ‘Maria Clara Virgin,’ which LionhearTV covered, Dela Torre’s advice to those emotional drinkers is, “Everything will be alright, drink moderately.”
She also addressed people asking if she was always drunk because of how she spoke.
“Hindi po, akala po nila lagi po ako naka-inom. Pero gusto ko pong sabihin sa inyo na hindi naman, ganito lang po talaga ako magsalita. Paglabas ko po sa Nanay ko ganito na ‘ko. Pati po ata pag-iyak ko ganito na rin.”
She also described herself as a lightweight drinker who gets drunk with only three glasses of ‘Maria Clara Sangria.’
“Noong nag-Tiktok po ako for Maria Clara tapos nakatatlong glass po ako. Pagkatapos ko pong i-shoot ‘yun, nalasing po ako. Hindi pa po nalabas ‘yung Virgin nun.”
Her bandmates also revealed that Dela Torre would always have her speech whenever she got tipsy.
“Nag-speech daw po ako. Nag=speech daw po ako tapos iniisa-isa ko daw po sila kung gaano ko sila ka-mahal.
“Na-se-senti po ako. About sa friendship po, ‘yung mga taong hindi umalis– na kaibigan.”
As for her endorsement, Dela Torre is the newest brand ambassador of the alcoholic beverages ‘Maria Clara Sangria’ and ‘Maria Clara Virgin.’
She also composed a heartfelt song, ‘Maria Clara,’ to further promote their campaign’s positive message of self-love, regardless of the situation.
