The TV series adaptation of the 1991 film, ‘Maging Sino Ka Man,’ starring David Licauco and Barbie Forteza, is set to conclude within the last three weeks of its run.
The show, which closely follows the storyline of the original movie starring Sen. Robin Padilla and Megastar Sharon Cuneta, both sharing the same title and soundtrack, composed by Rey Valera, was originally announced as a limited series.
It was already in the can before it made its television debut, making an extension impossible due to the series lined up to replace it.
The series made its debut on September 11, 2023, and it will air its final episode on November 6, 2023, completing a total of 40 episodes. The show that will succeed it is ‘Black Rider,’ where Ruru Madrid takes the lead role.

‘FPJ’s Batang Quiapo,’ a TV adaptation of a classic film by Fernando Poe, Jr., which follows the success of its predecessor, ‘FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano,’ airs in a similar time slot. Despite not topping the TV ratings, fans of BarDa, as the on-screen pairing of Barbie and David is known, have no reason to be concerned. The show has garnered positive feedback from viewers, with both actors demonstrating their acting prowess.
Additionally, the dynamic duo has a movie in the works. While it would be ideal if the film were to join the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) in 2023, its release in theaters remains a solid plan.
