On October 14, Kapamilya host Luis Manzano talked about his noontime show hosting experience before he took on ‘It’s Your Lucky Day.’
In an exclusive interview with the Kapamilya host, which LionhearTV covered, Manzano cited his experience hosting on the noontime show ‘Wowowee’ in 2010.
“You know for a while, nag-host na ako ng noontime for–four months–four to five months. ‘Yung dati, ‘yung Wowowee, kung di ako nagkakamali, nag-host ako ng four to five months.”
He considered it a dream as a game show host to work on a noontime program.
“And I guess for every game show host, isang dream ‘yan na makagawa ng isang noontime.”
He then highlighted the ’emotional tug’ he felt knowing that he was finally leading a noontime show after 20 years of being a host on live TV.
“Kaya nga ng nag-oopening kami, it wasn’t– for me, it wasn’t just you know, happy-happy, lahat-lahat. There’s a very emotional tug sa akin ng parang sabi ko wow, sa more than 20 years na ginagawa ‘to, ito ‘yung parang something na nagawa namin na para sa amin talaga.”
Manzano hosted various game shows on TV, including ‘Pinoy Big Brother,’ ‘I Can See Your Voice PH,’ ‘You Face Sounds Familiar PH,’ ‘The Singing Bee,’ and ‘Minute To Win It.’

As for their noontime program, ‘It’s Your Lucky Day’ temporarily takes over the noontime slot for ‘It’s Showtime’ as they serve the 12-day suspension order from the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB).
The cast features Luis Manzano, Robi Domingo, and Melai Cantiveros with an ensemble cast such as Andrea Brillantes, Francine Diaz, Kyle Echarri, Seth Fedelin, Negi, Long Mejia, Petite, and Divine Tetay.
‘It’s Your Lucky Day’ airs from October 14 to October 27, spanning Mondays through Saturdays, via Kapamilya Channel, A2Z, and GTV, while fans can also catch it on Kapamilya Online Live, iWantTFC, and TFC.
