The Kapisanan ng Social Media Broadcasters ng Pilipinas Inc. (KSMBPI) continues to press legal charges against public figures.
Following their recent filing of criminal charges against actress Angeli Khang for alleged “cybercrime violations in relation to obscene publication,” the organization is expanding its legal actions to include other well-known personalities.
Among them is sexy star AJ Raval, recognized for her relationship with actor Aljur Abrenica.
The accusations against AJ Raval are based on Article 201 of the Revised Penal Code and Section 6 of R.A. 10175 (Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012), mirroring the charges previously filed against Angeli Khang.
In addition to AJ Raval, the same charges have been brought against two other Vivamax stars, Ayanna Misola and Azi Acosta.
Attorney Mark Tolentino, legal counsel for KSMBPI, publicly disclosed the organization’s latest legal actions through a Facebook announcement.
As of now, neither AJ Raval, Ayanna Misola, nor Azi Acosta has issued public statements regarding these legal proceedings.
This development comes on the heels of KSMBPI’s previous complaint against other public figures, including Vice Ganda, Ion Perez, and vlogger Toni Fowler, on similar allegations.
