Actress Kathryn Bernardo took center stage during the launch event for her latest product endorsement. This event marked not only a momentous career move but also an audacious attempt to secure a place in the Guinness World Records for the “Largest Human Mattress Dominoes.”
The memorable launch ceremony unfolded at the SMX Convention Center Manila on a Sunday afternoon, with a plethora of over 2,355 participants, united by a common goal.
Together, they arranged a continuous sequence of single mattresses, each measuring 36 x 75 inches, forming an uninterrupted chain. This impressive display was intended to break the existing record for the “Largest Human Mattress Dominoes.”
To validate this endeavor and determine its eligibility for the Guinness World Records, Mai McMillan, a representative from the organization hailing from Japan, was present. The participants achieved their extraordinary feat in an astounding 20-minute timeframe, successfully securing their place in the annals of record-breaking achievements.
Noteworthy during the event was the unwavering support of Kathryn Bernardo’s devoted fanbase, who eagerly gathered at the venue to stand in solidarity with their beloved idol and partake in this historic occasion. The Guinness World Record for the “Largest Human Mattress Dominoes” is now a proud possession of the Philippines, a testament to the dedicated followers of Daniel Padilla’s partner.
The momentous undertaking served as a heartfelt tribute to the 4,000 Uratex employees and volunteers who were instrumental in making this ambitious event a reality. DJ Bigboy Cheng accepted the official certificate on behalf of the participants, officially acknowledging their triumphant accomplishment.
The event’s social impact was just as significant as its Guinness World Record attempt. All the mattresses used during the event will be donated to more than 55 local charities, providing crucial bedding for homeless individuals, seniors, differently-abled individuals, and children. This noble cause was undertaken in celebration of Uratex’s 55th anniversary.
Kathryn Bernardo’s participation in such record-breaking feats is by no means a new venture; just earlier this year, she led a Guinness record-breaking event for the “Largest Aerobic Weight Training Class” for another prominent brand.
