During the ‘Surprise Guest with Pia Archangel’ interview on September 9, Kara David shared her reaction to the nickname given to her as the “Queen of Potential Sound.”
She jokingly told Pia, “Sa mga nagtiTiktok, alam nila ‘yan.”
Indeed, many TikTok users frequently utilize sound clips from Kara David’s account to create dubbed content. Some of these sound bites come from her food and travel show, ‘Pinas Sarap.’
Host Pia even shared that she saw a sample video that had been dubbed using Kara David’s voice.
She gave an example of what she had said about suman (rice cake), which she believed was straightforward reporting but could be interpreted differently by others.
Kara explained, “Kasi kapag nagsushoot kami ng PinaSarap,’ ganun lang ako, talagang spontaneous at saka, I also make it a point na kapag titikim kami ng food, hindi ko pa siya natitikman talaga, ever, Walang take two.”
Kara David hosts ‘Pinas Sarap,’ a weekly show that takes viewers on a gastronomical adventure, providing a deeper appreciation for Filipino cuisine. ‘Pinas Sarap’ airs every Thursday at 7:15 PM on GMA News TV.
