On September 7, actor JC De Vera highlighted his point of view about meeting his exes.
At the media event for the TV teleserye ‘Nag-Aapoy na Damdamin,’ which LionhearTV covered, De Vera emphasized that he was open to amicably seeing his former romantic partner, especially if they didn’t have any ‘bad blood’ before their break up.
“No I think yes, lalo na kapag wala ka namang ginawang masama talaga and then wala naman kayong bad blood, or tipong kailangan ninyong gantihan ang isa’t-isa, I think wala namang problema.
“Oo wala, wala, kaya mo pa sigurong tignan ng mata sa mata eh di ba?”
He also shared his mindset about taking revenge, noting how vengeful people often get their ‘karma’ or comeuppance.
“Para sa akin ang revenge kasi may karma eh. Sa bawat ganti na ginagagawa mo may universe talaga na ibabalik niya sayo ‘yung ginagawa mo eh. Kaya ako, as much as talaga as possible you just forgive.”
He also referred to the characters in their Kapamilya-Kapatid series, ‘Nag-Aapoy na Damdamin,’ when discussing his views about revenge plots.
“Kasi tulad ng sinabi ni Tony. Kakaganti, ikaw din ang nahihirapan sa huli. Hindi ka magiging fulfilled kahit anong gawin mo. So para sa akin, huwag ka na lang mag-revenge. Di ba, nakakapagod.”
As for their Kapamilya-Kapatid series, ‘Nag-aapoy na Damdamin’ stars JC De Vera, Ria Atayde, Tony Labrusca, and Jane Oineza.
Catch the much-awaited face-off moment for Oineza (Olivia/ Claire), De Vera (Philip), Atayde (Melinda), and Labrusca (Lucas), wherein Lucas would finally see Claire as the wife of his mortal enemy, Philip.
Under the direction of FM Reyes, ‘Nag-aapoy na Damdamin’ airs from Monday to Friday, 3:50 PM, on Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, iWantTFC, TFC, A2Z, and TV5.
