‘It’s Showtime’ premiered on October 24, 2009, as a pre-noontime program. It became a household name, taking over the noontime slot in 2012.
The noontime program is currently serving a 12-day suspension order from the Movie and Television Classification and Review Board (MTRCB) after the government office cited the violations of ‘It’s Showtime’ during a cake-eating bit in July 2023. ‘It’s Showtime’ returns on air by October 28, 2023.
