Gaile Francesca, who is speculated to be the love child of the late Francis Magalona with former flight attendant Abegail Rait, has expressed her aspiration to carve out a career and identity that is separate from her father’s iconic legacy.

In a recent interview conducted by broadcast journalist Julius Babao, which was subsequently uploaded to his YouTube channel, the 15-year-old Francesca revealed her desire to become an artist while emphasizing her hope to be acknowledged for her talents rather than merely as the daughter of Francis Magalona.
Francesca presently goes by the surnames of both her parents, and she has not adopted her father’s surname.
Francesca noted, “I want to start my own image. He’s the King of Rap so maybe soon, I will release my own single.”
She acknowledged the criticism surrounding her mother’s unexpected revelation regarding her parentage, mentioning that it doesn’t affect her since she knows the story and is content without her father. She occasionally reflects on how her life would be if he were still alive.
She also disclosed her first visit to Magalona’s grave after a considerable time, describing it as an emotionally charged experience. Her original plan was to independently establish her career as an artist before unveiling her connection to her father, but the revelation occurred ahead of schedule.
Mon Roco, Francesca’s manager, indicated that the initial strategy was to enable her to stand on her own in the spotlight before revealing her ties to Francis Magalona. The intention was to first introduce her as an emerging artist and then subsequently acknowledge her as the daughter of the celebrated rapper.
