ABS-CBN’s action-drama teleserye ‘FPJ’s Batang Quiapo (FPJBQ)’ continues to assert its dominance in the realm of Philippine television by consistently achieving robust viewership ratings.
The most recent Nielsen NUTAM People survey reports reveal that FPJBQ consistently hovers near its all-time high record in terms of ratings.
On Monday, October 23, FPJBQ secured the top spot on the overall ratings chart with a remarkable rating of 16.0 percent. In contrast, its competitor ‘Maging Sino Ka Man’ found itself trailing in the distant number 4 position with a rating of 10.7 percent.
The following day, Tuesday, October 24, the Coco Martin-led teleserye once again reigned supreme on the overall rating chart, edging up slightly to 16.1 percent. It maintained its dominance over ‘MSKM,’ which posted a rating of 10.5 percent but slid down to the 5th spot.
However, on Wednesday, October 25, FPJBQ experienced a slight dip in its ratings, settling at 15.1 percent. Despite this, it retained its number 1 ranking on the leaderboard, while ‘MSKM’ further descended to the 6th position with a rating of 10.1 percent.
FPJBQ achieved its highest recorded rating on September 28, 2023, reaching an impressive 17.0 percent.
Given its current trend in ratings, it’s entirely plausible that FPJBQ may surpass its all-time high record and establish a new one. The only real competition it faces appears to be GMA Network’s primetime newscast ’24 Oras,’ which has previously claimed the top spot on the ratings board multiple times.
On Monday, October 23, ’24 Oras’ registered a rating of 15.7 percent, just 0.3 percent below FPJBQ’s ratings.
On Tuesday, October 24, the Kapuso newscast scored 15.0 percent, 1.1 percent lower than FPJBQ’s score.
And on Wednesday, October 25, ’24 Oras’ moved closer again, achieving a rating of 14.9 percent, 0.2 percent behind the leader, FPJBQ.
