The Pinoy TV audience’s preferences remained split between ABS-CBN and GMA Network, with ‘FPJ’s Batang Quiapo (FPJBQ)’ and ‘Abot Kamay Na Pangarap’ continuing to dominate their respective programming blocks.
According to the latest ratings reports from the Nielsen NUTAM People survey, FPJBQ maintained its primetime supremacy, while AKNP remained the daytime leader.
On Monday, October 16, FPJBQ secured an impressive 15.6 percent rating, outperforming all primetime drama series and surpassing its rival ‘Maging Sino Ka Man,’ which scored 10.6 percent. AKNP, on the other hand, posted a solid rating of 10.8 percent, securing the third spot in the overall ratings chart.
Moving on to Tuesday, October 17, the action-packed teleserye led by Coco Martin maintained its 15.6 percent rating, securing the number one position in the overall ratings board, once again beating ‘MSKM,’ which registered a rating of 11.3 percent. Meanwhile, AKNP experienced a slight drop but remained the daytime frontrunner with an increased rating of 11.2 percent, now at the fourth spot in the overall ratings leaderboard.
As the week continued to unfold, FPJBQ sustained its leadership on the overall ratings board on Wednesday, October 18, with an impressive rating of 16.1 percent, once again surpassing its rival ‘MSKM,’ which garnered a rating of 10.7 percent. AKNP also maintained its daytime dominance with a rating of 11.1 percent.
On Thursday, October 19, the Kapamilya teleserye experienced a slight decrease in ratings to 15.7 percent, tying for the number one overall ranking with ’24 Oras.’ In contrast, the Kapuso afternoon drama AKNP remained consistently strong in the daytime race, posting a rating of 11.6 percent and securing the number three spot in the overall ratings leaderboard.
