The battle for noontime show ratings is still under the control of the established noontime giants, ‘E.A.T.’ and ‘Eat Bulaga!’, while ‘It’s Showtime’s’ temporary replacement, ‘It’s Your Lucky Day (IYLD),’ is steadily gaining ground.
According to the most recent ratings data from the Nielsen NUTAM People survey, ‘E.A.T.’ and ‘Eat Bulaga!’ maintain their dominance in the noontime programming arena, leading the ratings competition, while ‘IYLD’ continues to warm up to TV viewers.
On Monday, October 16, ‘E.A.T.’ achieved a 4.2 percent rating, securing the 12th position on the ratings chart. ‘Eat Bulaga!’ followed closely in the 17th spot with a 3.5 percent rating. Meanwhile, ‘IYLD’ occupied the 20th position, registering a 2.6 percent rating.
On the subsequent day, Tuesday, October 17, ‘E.A.T.’ retained its 12th position with an increased rating of 4.4 percent. ‘Eat Bulaga!’ experienced a slight decline, dropping to 3.4 percent but advancing to the 16th position. In contrast, ‘IYLD’ saw a decrease of 0.5 percent, reaching 2.1 percent, and moving down to the 22nd position in the overall ratings.

Despite ‘It’s Showtime’s’ absence, it appears that ‘E.A.T.’ and ‘Eat Bulaga!’ will continue to dominate the ratings landscape. However, it would not be surprising if ‘IYLD’ experiences a sudden surge in ratings, especially considering its strong online presence.
