During a recent interview at the ABS-CBN Ball, Daniel Padilla, a well-known actor and the boyfriend of Kathryn Bernardo, shared his enthusiastic support for Bernardo’s latest film, ‘A Very Good Girl.’
Padilla had the opportunity to watch the film before its release, and he had nothing but praise for the project. He commended the movie for its unique storytelling and the impact it can have on audiences.
“Bago pa kasi gawin ‘yun, siyempre alam ko naman na din. Kami naman ni Kathryn ang magka-collab sa mga gagawin,” Padilla commented. “It’s a very different taste. Ito ‘yung mga kwentong hinahanap na natin ngayon. Ito ‘yung mga kuwentong makakapagbago… alam mo ‘yung kapag meron sa Netflix na medyo gritty, medyo psychological thriller, this is it.”
In addition to Kathryn Bernardo, ‘A Very Good Girl’ also features the acclaimed actress Dolly de Leon in a significant role. The film achieved impressive success, grossing P40 million within just four days of its release, as of September 30. Moreover, it is scheduled to have its Hollywood premiere on October 4.
When questioned about their future collaborations, Padilla mentioned that he is currently engaged in another project, making it challenging to provide a specific timeline for their next onscreen partnership. Their previous project together was the series ‘2 Good 2 Be True.’
