The Kapamilya romantic-drama teleserye ‘Can’t Buy Me Love’ (CBML) has maintained its impressive start in the ratings battle, according to the latest Nielsen NUTAM People survey. CBML has continued to garner strong ratings, reaching its highest rating to date.
During its premiere on Monday, October 16, CBML secured an 8.0 percent rating, surpassing its rival, the Kapuso program ‘Love Before Sunrise’ (LBS), which had a 7.1 percent rating, by 0.9 percent.
On the following day, Tuesday, October 17, the DonBelle series saw a 0.5 percent increase, reaching an 8.5 percent rating, still leading LBS by 0.4 percent at 8.1 percent.
The midweek episode on Wednesday, October 18, marked CBML’s highest rating to date, surging to 9.0 percent, maintaining its lead over LBS with a 1.3 percent margin at 7.7 percent.
Even on Thursday, October 19, CBML maintained its dominance with an 8.5 percent rating, only dropping by 0.5 percent, while LBS lagged behind with a rating of 7.4 percent.
In addition to its robust ratings performance, CBML has also maintained a strong digital presence with a significant live concurrent viewership on Kapamilya Online Live. Starting with a remarkable 454,413 live views on its debut episode, the series consistently averages more than 300,000 peak live viewers. Furthermore, it has remained the number one TV show on Netflix Philippines since its pilot episode.
As the series follows in the footsteps of its predecessor, ‘The Iron Heart,’ the question is: Can CBML sustain this impressive ratings performance?
