Bernie Diday, one of the respected and seasoned drag queens in Manila with over 16 years of experience in the drag scene, has faced a challenging condition that has rendered one of her eyes legally blind.
Shortly after the finale of ‘Drag Race Philippines’ Season 2 aired, a fan-run Twitter account initiated a fundraiser to assist Bernie in undergoing surgery to address her legally blind eye. The campaign stated that Bernie is scheduled to have the procedure in October.
