On September 22, actress Alessandra de Rossi talked about having the freedom to choose a project.
During the scene drop event for ‘Firefly’ at Azadore Restaurant in Quezon City, which LionhearTV covered, de Rossi said she didn’t regret focusing on having the freedom to take on any projects of her choosing.
She then highlighted how the popularity of her film ‘Kita-Kita’ signaled a shift in her career from being pigeonholed to a ‘Kontrabida’ role.
Pak, sumabog ‘yung Kita-Kita, may ibang message.
“And din nangyari siya, ‘Ahh, so may maniniwala na sayo ngayon na pwede kang ibenta, kasi before talagang no lahat.’ Even before Kita-Kita was made, hirap na ako ng producer niyan kasi no lahat. Kahit GMA nag no din. Mahirap talaga, pero when it happened, ‘uy pwede ah, pwede pala talaga ‘to.”
