Alden Richards and Julia Montes, the lead stars of the upcoming film ‘Five Breakups and a Romance,’ became emotional during the movie’s Red Carpet media conference on October 4 at GMA Network’s Studio 7.
Both actors expressed their deep emotions and gratitude for being part of the project.
Julia Montes took the opportunity to share how significant the film and her collaboration with Alden Richards are to her.
She expressed her pride in Alden’s contribution to the movie, stating, “I’ll take this opportunity, nae-emotional ako… Super proud ako kasi big part siya [Alden Richards] nito. This film is really special to me. This group really made an impact sa akin.”
Julia also opened up about her shyness and self-doubt, emphasizing how Alden Richards and Direk Irene Villamor helped her overcome these feelings.
She stated, “Mayroon po kasi akong mahiyain side and self-doubt, sobrang taas po ‘yun sa akin. Pero these two wonderful people [Alden Richards and Direk Irene Villamor] made me realize na I can do it. Sila ‘yung nagtiwala.”
Alden Richards, too, shared his emotional journey during the making of the film. He admitted that both he and Julia had their doubts when they started working on the project, despite their previous experiences in different projects. Alden expressed his gratitude for the film, stating that it had a significant impact on their lives and made them stronger as individuals.
‘Five Breakups and a Romance’ is set to be released in cinemas nationwide on October 18. The film, written and directed by Direk Irene Villamor, promises to be a heartfelt and emotional experience for the audience, just as it has been for its lead stars.
