In a recent press conference for the movie ‘Can’t Buy Me Love,’ actor Albie Casiño displayed his nonchalance when asked about the prospect of working with his ex-girlfriend, Andi Eigenmann.
When queried about his willingness to collaborate with Andi, Albie responded with a straightforward, “‘Yon hindi. I can go the rest of my life without having to deal with that.”
The actor admitted to having forgiven Andi and no longer devoting any energy to their past issues.
“I guess at this point of my life hindi ko na iniisip ‘yon e. Hindi ko na binibigyan ng energy ‘yon.” he explained.
However, Albie did mention that he would be polite if they were to encounter each other.
“We’re humans right? Hindi naman sa pagiging plastic pero ganto lang (peace sign). Eeksena pa ba ko do’n? Hindi na,” he added.
When inquired about his thoughts on Andi’s current life, Albie was clear in asserting that he simply doesn’t care.
“I don’t need to say it like this pero wala talaga kong pakialam e. It doesn’t bother me, I don’t think about it,” he stated.
Albie Casiño became embroiled in a paternity controversy in 2011 when Andi Eigenmann, who was pregnant at the time, initially named him as the father. Casiño denied being the father, and the resulting public backlash took a toll on his burgeoning showbiz career. Subsequently, it was revealed that Jake Ejercito is the biological father of Andi’s child, Ellie.
In 2021, Albie Casiño claimed that he had never received an apology from Andi. However, Andi’s sister, Stevie Eigenmann, refuted this claim by sharing a screenshot of what appeared to be a conversation between Albie and Andi.
