‘Black Rider’ star Yassi Pressman is thrilled about her return as a Kapuso and her role in an upcoming action-drama series.
The actress also shared how enjoyable it is to work alongside her co-star Ruru Madrid, not only in the series but also in their film, ‘Video City.’
During an interview on the noontime news program ‘Balita Ko,’ Yassi expressed her gratitude for being cast in the action-drama series and revealed that it wasn’t part of her initial plans. She shared that she received the offer for ‘Black Rider’ while shooting ‘Video City.’
“Siguro po nung nakita po nila ‘yung mga scenes namin, nakita po nila ‘yung chemistry namin ni Ruru, and siguro po kaya po nila na-i-offer sa’kin ‘yun,” Yassi said.
She added, “Everything happens for a reason and I’m so grateful pati rin po sa pagtanggap po ng mga tao kay Ningning at kay Hans sa Video City, maraming, maraming salamat po.”
Yassi is happy to return as a Kapuso and expressed her gratitude for the blessings she has received. She also mentioned that she is pleased that she’s working with familiar faces from her previous stint with GMA Network.
“I’m very very grateful for kasi masaya rin po ako na kahit bumalik po ako sa GMA, lahat po halos ng mga nakatrabaho ko noon, mga kakilala ko po noon, they still remember me, they’re still very very nice to me,” Yassi shared.
When asked about her feelings working with Ruru again after 10 years, Yassi said, “Working with him is great kasi po parang parehas po kami ng values.”
“Hardworking din po siya, hindi siya mareklamo, mabait po siya sa lahat ng tao, mabuting human being. Ang sarap po magkaroon ng mga scenes with him,” she added.
Pressman began her career in TV commercials at the age of 6. She later appeared in various TV shows and transferred between networks during her career, ultimately returning to GMA Network this year.
