In a recent revelation by Cristy Fermin, two politicians are said to have collectively donated P10 million to support the renovation of Willie Revillame’s ‘Wowowin’ studio, paving the way for the return of the popular show.
Cristy Fermin disclosed on ‘Showbiz Now Na’ that it appears there is no turning back for Revillame’s show, as insider information suggests that two politicians have stepped up as backers, each providing a substantial sum of ten million pesos to upgrade the studio facilities.
Additionally, Cristy’s source hinted that one of these politicians has aspirations of running for president in the 2028 elections and is reportedly trying to persuade Willie Revillame to join their senatorial slate.
The source emphasized that ‘Wowowin’ won’t be directly competing with other noontime shows, as they believe its rightful place is in the primetime slot.
“Hindi po pangtanghali ang kanyang programa. Hahawakan daw niya talaga ‘yung kung saan talaga siya umusbong, panggabi,” Cristy pointed out.
Reports also suggest that preparations are underway for the return of ‘Wowowin,’ possibly on government-owned TV stations such as PTV 4 and IBC 13.
