TV5’s classic prank show ‘Wow Mali’ returned to television over the weekend, but it received a lukewarm response from viewers.
According to the most recent ratings report from the Nielsen NUTAM People survey, ‘Wow Mali Doble Tama,’ featuring the comedic duo Jose Manalo and Wally Bayola, failed to secure a spot in the top 20 ratings chart for Saturday.
This suggests that the pilot episode’s rating may have been below 2 percent, as the 20th position was held by ‘Pinas Sarap’ with a rating of 2.6 percent.
However, despite not making it onto the ratings chart, ‘Wow Mali’ garnered a substantial number of online views. The show has already amassed over 267 thousand views on TV5’s YouTube channel since it was uploaded five days ago.
TV5 expressed its gratitude in a tweet and shared a video clip of Jose and Wally thanking all the Kapatid viewers for their support during the pilot episode.
