The Kapuso live-action adaptation of Voltes V, titled ‘Voltes V: Legacy (VVL),’ appears to have regained its footing, reclaiming its former position on the ratings chart.
According to the latest Nielsen NUTAM People survey, VVL has once again entered the top 5 programs, securing the coveted number 3 spot.
On Monday, August 28, VVL achieved a rating of 11.7 percent, positioning itself at number 4 on the ratings board.
On Tuesday, August 29, despite a slight 0.8 percent drop in ratings to 10.9, VVL moved up one notch to number 3.
The trend continued on Wednesday, August 30, as VVL maintained its number 3 position with an improved rating of 12.8 percent.
However, despite VVL’s significant achievement in reclaiming its former ranking, it still faces tough competition from its Kapamilya rival, FPJ’s Batang Quiapo.
On Monday, August 28, FPJBQ secured a rating of 13.0 percent, surpassing VVL by 1.3 percent.
On Tuesday, August 29, FPJBQ maintained its lead over VVL with a 0.6 percent advantage, scoring 11.5 percent.
And on Wednesday, August 30, FPJBQ widened the gap, posting a 1 percent margin against VVL with a rating of 13.8 percent.
As VVL approaches its near finale, the question arises: Can it sustain its current surge on the leaderboard, or will it experience another decline in the rating chart?
