The live-action adaptation of Kapuso’s ‘Voltes V: Legacy’ has made a surprising comeback, reclaiming its top position in the ratings as it competes against ‘FPJ’s Batang Quiapo’ in its final week of airing.
According to the latest preliminary overnight ratings from the Nielsen NUTAM People survey, VVL has once again ascended to the pinnacle of the entertainment ratings chart, surpassing its former leader, FPJBQ.
On Monday, September 4, VVL staged a remarkable comeback, achieving a rating of 14.0 percent to recapture the number 1 spot in the entertainment leaderboard and secure the overall number 2 position. In contrast, its rival, FPJBQ, scored 13.5 percent, sliding back to the number 3 spot.
On Tuesday, September 5, the Kapuso primetime series maintained its hold on the number 2 position with a rating of 13.9 percent, maintaining a 0.7 percent lead over FPJBQ, which stood at 13.2 percent.
VVL’s winning streak continued on Wednesday, September 6, as it retained its overall number 2 ranking. However, it’s worth noting that its ratings continued to dip, decreasing by 1.0 percent to 12.9 percent. In comparison, FPJBQ registered a rating of 12.8 percent.
With this trend, as we approach the conclusion of the series with two more airing days, the question arises: Can VVL maintain its position at the top of the ratings chart, or will it face a significant challenge from its equally formidable rival, FPJBQ? The answer will unfold in the remaining episodes.
