In a recent episode of ‘It’s Showtime,’ comedian and television host Vice Ganda delivered a thought-provoking message regarding personal growth and the role it plays in assisting others.
Vice Ganda articulated the belief that, before individuals can strive to enhance the lives of their family or children, they must first embark on a journey of self-improvement.
The comedian conveyed, “Kailangan mo muna tulungan ang sarili mo”, emphasizing the importance of focusing on self-development as a preliminary step before extending assistance to others.
He continued, “Kung gusto mo yumaman para sa pamilya mo, para sa anak mo… do it for yourself. Do it for yourself first…”
Vice Ganda underscored the concept that individuals should strengthen themselves before they can effectively empower and support others. He encouraged people not to perceive self-prioritization negatively, emphasizing that it’s crucial to commence the journey of self-improvement before extending a helping hand to others.
During a previous interview with George Royeca on YouTube, Vice Ganda fondly recalled the early days of his career as a singer and comedian. He shared anecdotes from that time, including instances where he was asked to lower his talent fee. He firmly believed that while certain aspects of a job could be negotiated, one should never compromise on their talent fee, as it signifies the value of their skills and contributions.
